Stainless Steel 8-32, 10-24 Post and Screws
Post and screw connectors, also known as Chicago screws, connector bolts, or barrel nuts, are a type of fastener with an internally-threaded, barrel-shaped boss (post) with a protruding flange, paired with a machine screw. The post is installed within the part being fastened; the flange serves as the bearing surface. The accompanying screw installs flush on the opposite side of the fastened part or surface. Chicago screws provide a lower profile than many other fastener options.
